Mommies don't have it easy..

As the cold weather continues to haunt us, and we have all suffered from one sickness or another this past week. I have decided I am sooooo ready for spring/summer. Ready to start Outdoor racing and hit the skateparks. Something to occupy the kids that they enjoy, something that will offer me a little peace and quiet.

So today is the first day in 8 days that the three of us have all got up and ready for the day feeling good/functionable. Until.. Hailee realized it was a school day... oh my you would have thought the world was about to end. She kicked, screamed, hit and scratched as I worked patiently (which does not happen often, better yet on a Monday morning) to get her sassy little self dressed for the day. The harder I tried to calm her the worse it got.. so I carried her to the car in "AS IS CONDITION". As I drive to the daycare at 7 A.M in the snow with her screaming "I hate you" and "You are mean" I decided Mommies don't have it easy... Someone tell me this will get better! Today was the begining of a great week in my mind. I got up at 4:30 to hit the gym and sauna and was feeling great about the day. Then the winter beast (Hailee) awoke and ruined my day!!

Spring/Summer... I am begging you please come soon and grant me some much needed sunshine and peace!

The Wedding

Mr & Mrs Dustin and Heather Farrimond

The wedding was beautiful. Dusty and Heather were both stunning and are so happy.

It brought tears to my eyes to see my babies all dressed up and ready to walk the isle for uncle Dusty.

Can not leave myself out.. as one of the Bridesmaids. It was a beautiful day and turned out very well. I wish them the best in their future together.

The BIG DAY!!

So we are just three days away from Dustin's wedding. This is a huge day for our family and for Dustin and Heather. I am so nervous about this that I am losing sleep over it. Tyler is the "Ring Bearer", Hailee and Heather's niece Ava are the "Flower Girls" and I am a bridesmaids. So wish us all the best at making it down the isle as planned.
Dustin and Heather,
We all love you both very much and hope that your wedding day is all you had hoped for. You two are a beautiful couple and I wish you all the happiness in the world.
Dusty,
You are the best brother anyone could ask for. You have been wonderful to me and my kids and we love you more than words can say. I hope that you have found true happiness and that your life is all you had hoped for. Having you as my brother has brought much happiness to my life and to my kids lives. I love you dearly. Best wishes on your big day!!!
Love you both..
